Colorado Animal Protectors is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization that formed in 2019 in response to a growing number of inquires from the public and policy makers about the need to provide information on the legislative process at the local, state and federal level, and how individuals can become powerful advocates for advancing laws that improves the lives of animals. CAP's mission is to educate the public and governmental entities on the importance animals play in our lives, our collective duty to protect all species including companion, domestic, farm and wildlife, and how stakeholders can work collaboratively to ensure all species remain a vibrant, respected and protected part of Colorado.
